Rt. Hon. Twalla Fadil Meets Adjumani NRM/PLU Leaders to Strengthen Grassroots Mobilisation

The General Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Rt. Hon. Twalla Fadil, this afternoon held a consultative meeting with NRM/PLU leaders and mobilisers from Adjumani District, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to strengthening grassroots structures and fostering closer engagement with communities across the country.

The Adjumani delegation was led by Hon. Daniel Izale, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Adjumani West Constituency, alongside local leaders and mobilisers committed to advancing the shared objectives of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and the Patriotic League of Uganda.

The meeting provided an opportunity for discussions on mobilisation strategies, community engagement, and the importance of maintaining strong coordination between national and district leadership. Participants also exchanged views on strengthening local organisational structures and promoting citizen participation in initiatives that support peace, unity, and national development.

Rt. Hon. Twalla Fadil commended the delegation for its continued dedication to grassroots mobilisation and encouraged leaders to remain focused on service, discipline, and sustained engagement with the people. He emphasised the importance of building strong local networks capable of effectively communicating the movement’s message and responding to the aspirations of communities.

Leading the delegation, Hon. Daniel Izale reaffirmed the commitment of Adjumani’s NRM/PLU leadership and mobilisers to working closely with the organisation’s national leadership in advancing programmes that promote patriotism, socio-economic transformation, and inclusive development.

The engagement forms part of PLU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its nationwide mobilisation structures through regular consultations with leaders and supporters from across Uganda, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to unity, effective organisation, and service to the country.
